OCLC First Search : You can get passwords at the Reference Desk  
     BasicBiosis "Covers the basic core of life science journals found in college and university libraries and written for undergraduate non-biology majors.  Includes popular and scholarly science journals." Subjects covered include agriculture, ecology, neuroscience, biochemistry, environment,  nutrition, biology, genetics, physiology, biotechnology, medicine, public health, botany, and microbiology from over 350 sources from 1994 to the present.  
     Dissertations "Selectively covers masters theses and dissertations including dissertations from Canada, Great Britain, and Europe."  Has over 1,560,000 dissertations and theses dating from 1861 to the present.    
     GenSciAbs "Covers everything from supernovas to marine pollution and is the ideal source for researchers seeking information on a variety of scientific topics.  Abstracts leading journals and magazines from the United States and Great Britain. 
Describes biographical sketches, symposia, conferences, review articles, selected letters to the editor, special issues of journals published as supplementary issues, review issues, laboratory guides, and book reviews."  Subject coverage includes anthropology, astronomy, pollution biology, computers, earth sciences, medicine and health, and more.  Provides citations from 160 journals from 1984 to the present.
 
   
EBSCO  
     Academic Search Elite "Provides full text for nearly 1,380 academic, social sciences, humanities, general science, education and multi-cultural journals. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for nearly 2,930 journals. Nearly 1,780 journals are peer reviewed. Full text backfiles go as far back as January of 1990, while indexing and abstract backfiles go as far back as January of 1984."  
     MEDLINE with FullTEXt with MeSH "Provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. This database contains full text articles from over 80 leading medical journals. MEDLINE FullTEXT with MeSH includes the entire MEDLINE collection and uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree numbers, tree hierarchy and explosion capabilities to search abstracts from current biomedical journals, citations from Index Medicus, the International Nursing Index, and the Index to Dental Literature."

Indexing begins in 1982, abstracts in 1984, and full-text coverage in 1994."
