My sabbatical research project,
as approved by the Provost and the Faculty
Development Committee,
will be to visit several of our benchmark college
libraries.
These college are identified as benchmarks for
our Phi Beta Kappa goals,
plus some additional libraries suggested by the
Provost.
I will examine their physical structures,
workflow, mission statements,
organizational structures, personnel,
collections, budgets,
and their relationships with other campus
departments
and with external agencies and consortia.
I will use this data to improve the information
resources
and library services for Georgetown College.
