The
Chaplain, the Mrs., and the kids:
My name is Ernie Heavin. This is my family, my bride of
24 years and my two daughters, Krissy and Valerie. I
know it appears we’re having to force them to take a
picture with us, but they actually like their mom and
dad. Krissy will graduate from Abilene Christian
University in May 2009 and Valerie will graduate from
Georgetown College in May 2011. I
will begin my 23rd year in ministry in 2008. At this
point in my life I am a bi-vocational minister. I’ve
worked at Georgetown College (working in the library and
serving as a staff chaplain) since 1996. Below is the
building where I work. In addition, I serve as the Store
Chaplain for Chick-fil-A restaurant in Hamburg,
Lexington, Kentucky.
My office is on the third floor of the
Ensor Learning Resource Center. Take the elevator or the
stairs. My desk is in plain view. Come up and visit me or
