Ensor Learning Resource Center

 

 MISSION

 

 The Ensor Learning Resource Center

is an essential partner with the faculty in the research

and instructional endeavors of Georgetown College.

 

Our purpose is to foster the development

of creative reasoning and critical thinking skills

that lead to intellectual, spiritual, and social growth.

 

We will anticipate and meet the information needs of the college community

with programs that advance scholarship,

develop critical competencies, and promote lifelong learning.

In fulfilling its mission, the Ensor Learning Resource Center strives to:

 

   ·    Anticipate, provide, and evaluate programs and resources that will lead to successful information navigation in support of the curriculum

   ·    Provide personalized attention in an information age

   ·    Encourage excellence in teaching and scholarship

   ·    Collect, preserve, and provide access to human knowledge as a tool to empower through the life of the mind

   ·    Promote the love of libraries, reading, and lifelong learning
